Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American journalist. Her current job is with ESPN as a reporter for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. She started working for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. When she was just nine years old, Collins's capacity to speak two languages has allowed her to get the job she wanted in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. In her position she was able to work with national producers like Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. She was hired as reporter for the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate following that. In 2009, she relocated from Texas in the Rio Grande Valley where she began her news reporting on KNVO TV 48 Univision. Covering stories related to drugs and immigration issues across the border of Mexico and Texas. Border, she served as an anchor for KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV48 at 5 pm. She was a news reporter in English until 9pm, after which she became a news anchor until 10 pm, and then returned to KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. She was also often asked to be anchors for the weather and sports. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate where she took on other responsibilities. She wrote pieces on Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS as well as the World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason Finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. She produced Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra and was the anchor. She worked as anchor for the sports segment of Despierta America Deportes morning show. It was the same role for Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo for the UniMas Network. Antonietta Collin's parents originally hail from Veracruz Mexico. At some point they were moved to Mexico City where she was born on November 22 1985. She is younger than her sister. She is the older sister. They divorced shortly thereafter in 1995. Her mother got married to an architect from the naval profession called Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. While on a vacation Antonietta spent the time at the house of her sister Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sibling had recently gotten an offer to work. Antonietta had just graduated high school but already knew her plans for what she would do. It was an amazing campus. They also offered her the degree she wanted. After completing her studies, she was accepted into the University with a degree in media studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was part of her class, formed an ongoing relationship with the student. Her professor, Mark Bergmann, inspired her by his passion for journalism. Also, he deeply affected her.
